HAUTE COUTURE 

Soo.... Haute Couture Nairobi happened at the Hilton Hotel for the first time sometime last month and I could not miss it for anything in the world.

It was a fashion filled event that brought together fashion lovers and great designers under one roof.

Got to learn alot...... ad say. Designers that stood out for me have to be Nick Ondu of Ankara Vintage and Black bird among others.

What I wore..... I chose to colour block with print(tie and dye Ledida design coat) with orange pants that match the orange bowtie. Taxido shirt and bag and shoes that match to complete the look.

Bahari Dida Ledida co-owner in Ledida attire..... Maroon velvet suit laced with masala fabric. Him being half Ethopian ....the ethopian scarf came in handy  and white socks that match the scarf.

Daudi...... repin' for Ledida wear from head to toe with the print coat and grey khaki pants the shoes need I say more. Ledida scarf and the look was complete.

             KITENGE FESTIVAL

Kitenge festival is an annual event. This year it happened at the village market and it was a must attend for everyone who is into fashion.
As the name suggests the theme was all about african fabric and everybody in attendace embraced african fabric and colour in appreciation of the african culture and fashion.

 What I wore for the event...... I chose to go with an ankara Ledida design top and tonned it down with black khaki pants. White tshirt and socks that match the bands of the top.A bag that match the shoes made the look complete.
